Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

WESTON, MA— Shrewsbury resident Austin W. Rook was one of 90 students to graduate from The Rivers School in Weston on Friday, June 12. An honor roll student with a strong interest in math and engineering, Austin was a member of Red Key, which offers campus tours to prospective families. A talented athlete, he was captain of the varsity hockey team this year, having been a member for four years. He also played varsity lacrosse as a freshman and sophomore before joining the varsity tennis team for two years. He has also volunteered as an assistant coach for the Middle School hockey team. The son of Michael and Heidi Rook, he will play junior hockey for a year before attending Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
