Shrewsbury Resident Causes Firestorm With Support of Norwegian Killer
Kevin Forts, who was attending Assumption College, told a Norwegian television station the 2011 attacks on a summer camp in Oslo were necessary.

A 22-year-old Shrewsbury resident has been barred from Assumption College for the forseeable future after granting an interview with a Norwegian television station in which he expressed support for the mastermind behind last year's massacre in Oslo.
"Assumption College condemns the violence that occurred in Norway last July and does not support the opinions expressed by this student," Assumption President Francesco Cesareo wrote to the college community.

Norwegian newspaper VG published an interview with Forts, who, according to CBS Local, sent letters of support to Anders Behring Breivik, who is currently on trial. Breivik is accused of setting up a bomb that killed eight people in central Oslo and then shooting 69 others to death on the island of Utoya at a political youth camp, in one of the deadliest shooting sprees in modern history.
In his interview, filmed in Worcester, Forts called Breivik's actions "heroic."
