Silver Alert: Pair Seen In Shrewsbury Asking For Directions

A 77-year-old man and 94-year-old woman were reported missing from their Webster home Tuesday.

SHREWSBURY, MA — A pair of older adults who are the subject of a silver alert were seen in Shrewsbury hours after they were reported missing, according to local police.

Janusz Melewski, 77, and Stanislawa Melewski, 94, left their home in Webster at or before 11 a.m. Tuesday. They were later seen along Route 20 in Shrewsbury on Tuesday night asking for directions, police said.

The pair were driving a 2001 Lincoln Continental with the Massachusetts license plate 976JVO, according to authorities.
