Elsie Kaye Artisan Gifts & Flamework Studio

Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

Spring Street School to Host Annual Fun FairGet ready to travel the globe at Spring Street School's annual Fun Fair on Sunday, March 22nd from noon to four. This year's theme is Passport to the World and the event is sure to have international flair! Games, crafts, food, live magic, a huge basket drawing and an extensive silent auction offer something for everyone at this family friendly event. Tickets are available at the school on the day of the event. All proceeds from the fair and silent auction will benefit the Spring Street PTO. We are very excited to announce that ALL proceeds from the basket drawing will go towards purchasing technology for the school.
