Town Of Shrewsbury: Important Message From The Water & Sewer Division - Water Service Interruption On September 21st

On Tuesday, September 21 2021, weather permitting, contractor Ricciardi Brothers, Inc., will be starting the School Street water main replacement project. They will be connecting the new water main to the existing main at the intersection of School Street and Main Street.  School Street from Main Street to Sheehan Drive, as well as Sheehan Drive and Ronald Lane will not have water from 8:30 a.m. to approximately 5:00 p.m. to allow this work to take place. Please follow the link below for a map of the area where water service will be interrupted. Detours will be in place throughout the duration of the project.

Residents in the vicinity of the project, including homes on High Street up to number 69, may also experience interruption in service or reduced pressure. If you experience discolored water once the project is complete, please run the cold water in downstairs bathtub until it clears.
