DEAN PARK POND - PUBLIC HEALTH ADVISORY - LIFTED

NEWTON POND - PUBLIC HEALTH ADVISORY - LIFTED

Dean Park Pond (located off of Main Street in Shrewsbury): The Public Health Advisory that was posted on July 29, 2021 has been LIFTED as of August 6, 2021. 

Weekly laboratory testing shows safe water quality limits.

Newton Pond (located off Sewall Street in Shrewsbury):  The Public Health Advisory that was posted on July 29, 2021 has been LIFTED as of August 6, 2021. Weekly laboratory testing shows safe water quality limits.

The Worcester Division of Public Health (WDPH) and the Town of Shrewsbury’s Board of Health has LIFTED the Public Health Advisory for both Dean Park Pond and Newton Pond.
