Old Spag's Site to be Whole Foods
Whole foods is coming to the area. Will you shop there?
Whole Foods Market has announced on July 30 that it will open two new locations in the North Atlantic region; in Shrewsbury and Bedford, NH.
The Shrewsbury location at Lakeway Commons, which is a development on Route 9 located where Spag’s once sat, will be 50,000 square feet and employ approximately 175 full and part time team members. Whole Foods Market Shrewsbury will open mid-2016.
The Bedford, New Hampshire location will be a 40,000 square foot store employing approximately 150 full and part time team members. Whole Foods Market Bedford, NH is projected to open late-2015.

“We have been eager to respond to strong demand for stores in central Massachusetts and New Hampshire for a long time,” said Laura Derba, Whole Foods Market’s regional president. “Finding the perfect location in Shrewsbury, as well as going from zero locations in New Hampshire to three in two years has been truly exciting for us.”
Whole Foods Market currently has 35 operational stores in the North Atlantic region, with an additional five in development, along with Shrewsbury and Bedford. Whole Foods Market will open its first New Hampshire location, in Nashua, on Aug. 19.
