Winner Claims $1 Million Lottery Prize Sold At Shrewsbury Store

A lucky winner who played a $10 scratch-off game claimed the prize recently.

SHREWSBURY, MA — GND Nominee Trust of Quincy is the first $1 million prize winner in Mass Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Bonus Bucks” $10 scratch-off ticket game.

The trust, represented by trustee David Spillane, opted to receive its prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes, according to Mass Lottery.

The winning ticket was purchased at Turnpike Liquors, 166 Boston Road (Route 9) in Shrewsbury.

The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

The winner overcame 1 in 2,016,000 odds to land the prize.
