Man Beats Girlfriend with Broken Hanger in Shrewsbury

Judges rule on Shrewsbury cases.

Monday, July 18:

Udai Dadwal, 36, of 27 Minuteman Way, Shrewsbury, was arrested in Westborough on June 24 and was charged with operating under the influence of liquor. Dadwal admitted to sufficient facts and Judge Vito Virzi placed him on probation for one year, ordered him to pay $600 in fees as well as paying restitution if any and ordered him to enter into a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program.

Nicole M. Ginchereau, 31, of 8 Maple Ave., Apt. B, Hudson, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and speeding. The court issued a summons after Shrewsbury Police filled out a criminal complaint on March 28, 2007. Judge Vito Virzi dismissed the suspended license charge after a request of the Commonwealth and Ginchereau was found not responsible for the speeding charge.

Wednesday, July 20:

Adrian H. Lendarson, 19, 139 Walnut St., Shrewsbury, was arrested on June 26 by Shrewsbury police on charges of carrying a dangerous weapon and possession of a class B drug. Judge Virzi dismissed the case upon restitution fees being paid by Aug. 3.

James Palmer, 44, 845 Hartford Turnpike, Shrewsbury, was issued a complaint by Shrewsbury police on April 5 for threat to commit a crime, disturbing the peace. Charges were dismissed.
Richard Parker Jr., 49, 150 North St.,, Bellingham, was arrested for vandalizing property, leaving the scene of property damage, equipment violation. Judge Noonan dismissed the cases without prejudice.

Thursday, July 21:

Alex D. Torres, 21, of 16 Otter Trail, Worcester, was issued a criminal complaint by Shrewsbury Police and charged with assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (broken coat hanger.) On the assault and battery charge, he admitted to sufficient facts, was placed on probation for one year, and Judge Vito Virzi ordered him to pay $50 in fines and a $65 monthly probation fee. Virzi dismissed The assault and battery with a dangerous weapon charge.

Friday, July 22:

Richard W. Garry, 51, of 466 Park Ave., Apt. 3, Worcester, was issued a complaint by Shrewsbury Police May 19 on charges of violation of an abuse prevention order. Thomas dismissed the charge.

Randy G. Burbo, 29, of 7 Watson Ave. #2-L, Worcester, was issued a complaint by Shrewsbury Police Dec. 21 and charged with larceny over $250. Thomas found him guilty, ordered six months probation to Jan. 19 and ordered payment of $900 restitution.

Paul A. Nuzzolilo, 51, of 2 Agawam St., Worcester, was arrested June 14 by Shrewsbury Police and charged with shoplifting and possession of class B substance. Thomas dismissed the shoplifting charge. On the possession charge, Thomas found sufficient facts, continued the case without a finding until Jan. 20, ordered him to remain drug-free and undergo random screenings and ordered him to pay $50 to the victim witness fund and a $65 monthly probation fee.
