1) Bust out the pruning shears: The South End Garden Tour is coming. The June 16 event goes through some of the prettiest public and private gardens in the neighborhood. Day-of tickets are $25, but you can get them for $20 ahead of time.
2) Congratulations to Inquilinos Boricuas en AcciĂłn,
nominated for a Nonprofit Excellence Award for its work in the South End. The group set up a Pathway Technology Campus in the neighborhood helping over 200 South End and Lower Roxbury residents get a GED, take college classes and more.
3) School daze:
