Boston Mayor Walsh: Trump Should Apologize for Mexican Immigrant Comments

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh wants nothing to do with GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump until he issues an apology for his recent comments regarding Mexican immigrants.

“I think his comments are inappropriate. And if he wanted to build a hotel here, he’d have to make some apologies to people in this country,” Mayor Walsh told the Boston Herald.

Trump made shockwaves across the country last week at his campaign launch address. He delivered harsh, unfiltered words on his feelings towards Mexican immigrants.

“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best,” Trump said. “They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists.”
