Boston Woman Wails On Pit Bull, Arrested
Pamela Tyler allegedly grabbed her dog's face, delivered multiple blows, and spit on officers when they intervened.
BOSTON, MA — A Boston woman was arrested Thursday night for what authorities said was beating her young pit bull at Dudley Station.
Pamela Tyler, 51, was arrested around 10:30 p.m. when Transit Police took notice of her forcefully yanking the dog, Mimi, after it tried to lick the ground. Tyler then struck Mimi in the face "with considerable force," authorities said. About 20 seconds later, Tyler allegedly grabbed Mimi by the head and delivered multiple blows to the dog's face and nose.
Officers intervened, but Tyler allegedly refused to cooperate and resisted being placed in the cruiser, spitting on officers.
