Cash, Drugs, Gun Recovered In Boston Drug Bust: PD
Two 24-year-old men were arrested following an alleged drug deal on Morrissey Blvd.

DORCHESTER, MA — Police recovered seven thousands dollars, two bags of pot, and a loaded handgun in a bust Thursday afternoon that originated on Morrissey Boulevard.
Officers conducting an investigation in the 700 block of Morrissey observed what they said appeared to be a drug transaction between someone who approached a vehicle and the people inside the vehicle. Police followed the vehicle as it left and another officer stopped it near Neponset Avenue and Parkman Street.
Officers recovered more than seven thousand dollars from the front seat passenger, and a search of the vehicle uncovered a loaded Remington Rand .45 cal handgun, two bags of marijuana, and other drug paraphernalia.

Dimitri Thomas, 24, of Hyde Park was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, distribution of Class D, and possession with intent to distribute Class D. Coulino Gomes-Fernandes, 24, of Boston, was arrested and charged with distribution of Class D, and possession with intent to distribute Class D.
