CFA Society Boston elects Will Krause as new Chair

Northern Trust executive will lead the 6,200-member organization for the 2026-2027 term

CFA Society Boston has elected Will Krause, Senior Portfolio Manager and Senior Vice President in Northern Trust’s Wealth Management practice, as its board chair for 2026-2027.

Taking the role of Vice Chair is Keon Holmes, CFA. Patrick Gregory, CFA was re-elected Secretary. Jennifer DeSisto, CFA, CAIA was elected Treasurer, followed by our Directors: Katharine Delaney, CFA, Sean Fullerton, CFA, Bill Li, CFA, CAIA, and Sri Krishnamurthy, CFA.

A founding society of the global credentialing organization, CFA Institute, the society has more than 6,200 members who have earned the Chartered Financial Analyst credential, the most respected and recognized investment designation in the world.

Krause said he is eager to encourage more CFA Charterholders to become active in the society and its events and volunteer initiatives, including those that promote financial literacy education for people of all backgrounds throughout Greater Boston.

“The value of all the hard work you put into earning your CFA is not just the expertise you acquire, it’s about the caliber of the network you can access after that,’’ Krause said. “People I’ve met through the Society have been career-changing friends and professional contacts, and I’m excited to help more CFA Society Boston members take full advantage of how the Society can grow their careers and their networks.”

A graduate of Harvard College, Krause has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and earned his CFA Charter in 2012.
