Dance with Parkinson's

Urbanity Dance offers free weekly Dance with Parkinson's classes in the South End and Cambridge.

Dance with Parkinson’s classes offer dance to individuals with Parkinson’s and their caregivers, free of charge.

Weekly classes are led by Urbanity’s professionally trained instructors with live music and assisted by volunteers who specialize in physical and occupational therapy. Each class explores movement and music, balance and flexibility, coordination and grace — similarly to a typical dance class. Participants are invited to let go of inhibition and to find joy in the music and motion within a social, creative outlet. Whether seated or standing, individuals can enjoy this supportive community at one’s own level and pace.

All are welcome - no dance experience is necessary.
