Design & Decor Re-Using & Re-Purposing Salvage

An Artweek interactive seminar at South End Boston

Gain Design inspiration, technical instruction, and a new appreciation for the beauty, quality, history and authenticity as well as eco-friendly benefits of salvaged architectural elements, vintage furnishings and unusual antique artifacts. Be inspired with new ideas, as well as insider tips and techniques on how these one-of-a-kind unique treasures can be re-used conventionally in both modern and period homes, or repurposed in completely new and creative ways in a variety of settings. Showcased projects encompass residential and retail as well as restaurant interiors including Greater Boston’s Steel and Rye, Fairsted Kitchen, La Brasa & Commonwealth. Participants can enjoy complimentary spirits and snacks during this interactive presentation and private tour led by 2 industry experts, award-winning designer and builder Brendan Haley of B Haley Designs and Bill Raymer, owner of Boston’s only 7000 sq. ft. antique salvage showroom/warehouse Restoration Resources, a 2 time recipient of Boston Magazine’s, “Best of Boston Home”!
