The last United South End Settlements (USES) walk of the 2011 season will happen on Monday, September 12th. Marc LaCasse, a member of the Albany Harrison Corridor strategic advisory committee, will present part 2 of our stroll down Harrison Ave. Marc will set out the vision for that area of the South End and present the recommendations for changes to each of the sub areas. The meet point is in front of Gaslight Restaurant, 560 Harrison Ave. (corner of Waltham St). at 6 pm. USES walks proceed at a comfortable pace that anyone can handle. Well behaved leashed dogs are welcome but think about leaving Fido at home if you would like to join us for the optional dinner with the walk leader afterward. We limit attendance to 20 so that everyone can have a good experience. Please RSVP to Linda Morfin at lmorfin@uses.org. You will be notified by email if the walk is cancelled because of rain. A waiting list is maintained so do cancel if you are not able to attend.
