Let Your Child Get Creative with Mural Painting at the Boston Center for Adult Education

WHAT:           Take your child’s artwork off the fridge and onto a live display at the Boston Center for Adult Education for the whole world to see! On Saturday, April 21st, 2012 from 10:00AM to 1:00PM, instructor Joanne Coughlin, founder of “Mural’s-for-Kids” will teach children how to let their imaginations run wild using acrylic paints. Acrylics give student artists the “feel” of oil painting with the benefits of water-washable ease and non-toxic safety. Each child will create an individual piece of artwork that will eventually merge together with others to form a one-of-a-kind mural.

Students will be encouraged to use different textures and techniques to express themselves while enhancing their art skills along the way. As part of the BCAE’s Child Enrichment Program, Bean City Kids, this class is designed for parents to accompany their little ones in creating masterpieces! The unique mural will be put on display at the BCAE for members and guests.
