The Beehive presents two diverse performances this month

This April The Beehive, located in Boston’s South End, hosts an all-star lineup of international, vibrant and compelling performers that will appeal to all sorts of musical tastes. From the zesty dance and musical styles of Cumbiagra, to the jazz rhythms The Jerome Sabbagh Quartet, The Beehive never fails to entertain and amaze guests and this month’s line up is no different!

 

Calling all Latin music lovers of Boston! On Wednesday, April 20th, 2011 from 8:00PM to 12:00AM the New York group Cumbiagra will loosen you up as they dance the sexy “cumbia.” This in-demand group has thrown famous dance parties all over the world, combining instrumental, kinky reggae to create a rich musical style, making for a very hot Wednesday night.

Finally, let The Jerome Sabbagh Quartet set the mood on Wednesday, April 27th, 2011 from 8:00PM to 12:00AM.  This critically acclaimed saxophonist & composer, known for delivering a genius mix of traditional and regular jazz melodies, is a rare gem.  He has performed with some of the most world renowned players out there including Jeff Ballard, Bill Stewart, Ben Monder and Ben Street. Tonight this heavy hitter will be joined on stage by Nadav Remez, Eran Fink and Tamir Shmerling for a not-to-be-missed performance!
