Five Things, Including A Rescheduled Potluck in Franklin Park

Here are five things going on in and around town for you to know about.

1.  Warm Wednesday: The National Weather Service is predicting a warm, sunny day with a high of 82. The evening will cool down to about 64 and may cloud over.

2.  Winesdays: The MFA is hosting a wine tasting which features a different winery each month. This event is for the 21+ crowd and costs $25 per person. Price includes hors d’oeuvres and a tasting. Starts at 5:30 p.m.

3.  Franklin Square potluck rescheduled to July 31: Last night's rains put a damper on the planned Franklin Park pot luck dinner. Foodies should take heart, however; The Friends of Blackstone and Franklin Squares have rescheduled the outdoor dinner for 6 p.m. July 31.

4.  Shakespeare on the Common: The Commonwealth Shakespeare Company hosts their 17thseason of free Shakespeare with Coriolanus. Come see the show from 7 to 9:45 p.m.. This may not be appropriate for all ages and parental discretion is advised. 

5.  Landmark’s Festival at the Shell: To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Clean Water Act, The Landmark’s Orchestra will be playing to celebrate the natural beauty of our waterways. Tonight’s performance will reflect on the world’s bodies of water and their inspiration to music. This free show starts at 7 p.m.
