Frost Ice Loft Unveils "The Gallery" - Downtown Boston's Newest Event Space and Home for the Arts

130 Person Capacity Event Space with Picturesque Views of Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market Opens at All-New Frost Ice Loft

Frost Ice Loft is proud to announce the arrival of Boston’s newest downtown event space - The Gallery.

Frost Ice Loft, formerly Frost Ice Bar, will now be housing a room-temperature, 130 person capacity event space and home for the arts overlooking Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market as part of the all-new Frost Ice Loft.

“We have been working feverishly on our hidden gem of an event space for the past several months and can’t wait to reveal it to the public as we re-introduce the Frost brand to Boston,” said Frost Ice Loft spokesman, Robert Platner. “With large, dynamic windows providing breathtaking views of Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market, The Gallery is truly unique to any event space in town and its unveiling is the perfect way to launch the all-new Frost Ice Loft.”

Platner is a career hospitality industry veteran who was recruited to Frost Ice Loft to spearhead the brand’s re-introduction as a venue for local Bostonians to enjoy its variety of unique experiential offerings.

The Gallery will reside under the same roof as New England’s only permanent indoor ice bar at 200 State Street in Faneuil Hall Marketplace and will focus on attracting a mix of corporate, non-profit, children’s and arts-focused events.

During the day, The Gallery is flooded with natural sunlight from its wall of windows facing Quincy Market and illuminated by the city skyline at night. The Gallery spans 2600 square feet and has 15 foot high ceilings with beautiful hardwood floors.

“In addition to the unveiling of The Gallery, Frost has undergone a complete product and service offering transformation in the ice bar with a focus on serving quality products at a variety of price points,” said Platner. “The aim is to provide bar products and service worthy of our Faneuil Hall location while continuing the undeniable attraction of a rotating art exhibit inside a year-round frozen wonderland.”

Frost Ice Loft has rolled out an entirely new menu featuring previously unavailable beer, wine, “small batched” and made to order craft cocktails. Beer and spirits will be locally sourced when possible, while the new cocktail menu presents guests with two tiers of pricing options depending on product preference.

“The challenge of working in an environment that remains a constant 21 degrees, is finding new methods and techniques to deliver a quality spirit and cocktail experience,” said Platner. “Frost simply cannot do things the same way your typical bar can and introducing premium spirits has allowed Frost’s guests access to many of the spirit industry’s finest and newest on-shelf products.”

The new Frost Ice Loft employees the services of the most talented ice carvers in the area to sculpt a variety of seasonally themed ice sculpture exhibits inside the bar. From superheroes to abstract pieces, Frost Ice Loft will continually have exquisite ice sculptures on rotation in a designated area of the bar for the whole family to enjoy.

The Gallery and the all-new Frost Ice Loft are now available to the public. Please call 617-307-7331 or visit www.frosticeloft.com to book your reservations today.
