'GhostBusters' Crew Builds NYC Subway Stop in Boston
Hollywood stars and production crew members have been scampering through the streets of Boston.

If you’ve happened to pass through downtown Boston, you may be wondering why there’s a New York City subway stop situated in the middle of the Financial District. Not to worry - the MBTA has not suddenly vanished.
Hollywood stars and production crew members have been scampering through the streets of Boston, working on the new “GhostBusters” reboot, even though it’s actually based in New York City.
Bostonians have snapped photographs of several different stages of the production process thus far this summer. On Wednesday, one person captured a shot of a replica 50th Street N/Q/R subway stop.

Ironically enough, that particular New York City subway line does not stop at 50th Street, though the minor mistake will likely go unnoticed in the highly-anticipated film.
Boston’s Milk Street was also transformed into the Avenue of the Americas for another scene.
