Hammond Residential Real Estate to exhibit the works of Jib Bowers and Carolyn E. Lovit: Images and Imagination

Works on display through August 2015

BOSTON (April 3, 2015) - The Hammond Residential Real Estate office located in the ATELIER 505 building, at 505 Tremont Street in Boston’s South End, is pleased to announce that it will exhibit a collection of works by artists and Hammond agents Jib Bowers and Carolyn E. Lovit entitled Images and Imagination, from April 2015 through August 2015. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, April 23 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., at which time the artists will be present to receive questions about their work.

Jib Bowers has been interested in the photographic arts since he was a young boy, attempting to capture what both his eyes and mind saw. Only recently, has he gone back to study the mechanics and artistry of photography and the complexities involved in the digital age. He approaches his work with the attitude that “a picture is worth a thousand words.” As such, he attempts to convey both subtle and serene aspects of his subjects, but often with whimsical and vibrant sides. Bowers’ images are colorful and smooth, yet have an extroverted style that is filled with a soothing sensuality, fantasy, or cold, dark adventure.

Bowers entered the real estate world in 1999, and as a Hammond agent has developed a client base of regular restaurant patrons, long time neighbors and enthusiastic newcomers. To serve his clients, Bowers leverages a standard of service, a familiarity with the neighborhood born of years living in its heart, endless enthusiasm, and his ability to listen to his clients’ needs and map those to the Boston marketplace, truly setting him apart from his colleagues.
