HomeStart's 13th Annual Keys to the House: South End Fundraiser is a Success

Guests had the opportunity to give back to their community and help those less fortunate in the housing arena.

HomeStart and members of the Greater Boston Real Estate community hosted Keys to the House: South End at the The Mills Gallery at the Boston Center for arts. The event brought together companies and individuals in the area who have found success in the housing market who want to now give back and help those less fortunate. Throughout the evening, guests experienced a new exhibit by artist James Montford called ‘Persuasions 1990-2015’, live jazz music, delicious hors d’oeuvres from the popular South End restaurant Estragon, and heard an inspiring talk by HomeStart client Stacey Holliday who has worked with the organization for over a decade. Through HomeStart, Holliday was placed into permanent housing, leading her to attend and graduate from college. She is currently working toward a Master’s Degree in counseling so she can one day help other young women.

Sponsors of the event included: Alavi + Braza, P.C., Tracy Bellavance & Blue Hills Bank, Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty, Hammond Residential Real Estate, Keller Williams Realty, Mike O’Hagan & Coldwell Banker, John Ranco at Hammond Real Estate, Rick Scherer – MSA Mortgage, Berkshire Bank, Sarah & William Boynton, Moshe Elmekias of Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty, Mark T.
