Mayor Walsh Urges Bostonians to Stay Safe Amid Extreme Heat
This week's forecast calls for several days of extreme heat.

With temperatures climbing into the mid 90s across the city of Boston, Mayor Marty Walsh is urging residents to exercise caution during the hot weather forecast for this week. Extreme heat is expected throughout the week.
Walsh has not declared a heat emergency, but will likely do so after three consecutive days of 90 degrees or higher.
Cooling centers will be opened across Boston in the event Walsh calls for an emergency.
