MBTA: Orange Line Experiencing Delays

Weekend buses will replace service, too, this weekend, due to the Assembly Station Project.

The Orange Line is experiencing “severe delays due to fire department activity at Jackson Square,” according to officials. It is unknown when service will be restored to proper levels.

Buses this weekend

Buses will replace Orange Line service between Sullivan Square and Oak Grove Stations on May 16-17 and May 30-31 from start to the end of service.

Due to the Assembly Station Project, alternate shuttle buses will replace Orange Line trains in both directions from Sullivan Square to Oak Grove Stations from start to end of service during the following weekends:

  • Saturday, May 16, 2015, through Sunday, May 17, 2015.
  • Saturday, May 30, 2015, through Sunday, May 31, 2015.

Regular Orange Line trains will resume at the start of service on Mondays.

All shuttle bus stops are accessible for persons with disabilities.

Shuttling the following stops:

  • Oak Grove Station
  • Malden Center Station
  • Wellington Station
  • Assembly Station
  • Sullivan Station
