Peabody Properties Assumes Management of the South End's Anna Bissonnette House

Award-winning real estate firm partners with Hearth, Inc. to manage community for formerly homeless seniors

Peabody Properties, Inc. – a full service real estate firm, managing in excess of 10,000 housing units located primarily in New England – today announced that it has assumed management of the Anna Bissonnette House. Located on Washington Street in Boston’s South End, the Anna Bissonnette House is a community for formerly homeless seniors.

Since 2012, Peabody Properties has partnered with Hearth, Inc. to help seniors in need find homes of their own, in which they can thrive. Hearth is a non-profit organization dedicated to the elimination of homelessness among seniors through prevention, placement and service-enriched affordable housing programs. Today, Peabody Properties and Hearth share a portfolio of 176 units.

According to Hearth Chief Operating Officer, May Shields, the services Peabody Properties provides are essential to ensuring the highest quality housing for the senior residents in our care. “We greatly value our partnership with Peabody Properties and rely on the superior management they provide,” said Shields. “Together we are able to offer services that help create a stable home environment for formerly homeless seniors.”
