The Performing Arts Series 2016-2017 Concert Schedule Announced

The Performing Arts Series is sponsored by Hammond Residential Real Estate and Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage

The 2016-2017 season schedule of The Performing Arts Series has been announced.

The Performing Arts Series, which is sponsored by Hammond Residential Real Estate and Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, was established over 20 years ago to provide performance opportunities to young professional musicians while enriching the communities in which we live and work.

The 2016-2017 performance locations and dates include:

  • Concord, Friends of the Performing Arts in Concord (FOPAC): January 29
  • Chestnut Hill, Brimmer & May School: February 12; April 9; Autumn 2017
  • Sharon, Temple Israel: March 5
  • Weston, Weston Public Library: March 12; April 23
  • Lexington, Follen Community Church: March 26
  • Boston, Old South Church: April 30

Some of the talented musicians scheduled to perform this season include Yevgeny Kutik, Sarita Kwok, and Jan Müller-Szeraws. Many of the series’ participants have performed at some of the most highly-regarded venues in the classical world, including Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.

Internationally-recognized cellist Jan Müller-Szeraws said of his experience, “Having been featured in the Performing Arts Series has been a cornerstone in the development of my career. These fantastic concert opportunities have helped me mature and unfold my musicianship in a beautiful and irreplaceable way: by performing in front of a wonderful, knowledgeable and appreciative audience.”
