South End Baseball kicked off its 24th season on Saturday with a parade, pony rides, a home run derby, and of course, hot dogs. Newly elected City Councilor Tito Jackson and Red Sox legend Luis Tiant were among the special guests to throw out a first pitch, and Mayor Menino took part in the festivities as well.
