Photos: Fans Take to the Streets
After the Bruins beat Vancouver on Wednesday night, fans -- and police in riot gear -- took to the streets around TD Garden.
The Boston Bruins won their first Stanley Cup in nearly 40 years with a 4-0 victory over the Vancouver Canucks Wednesday night. Goalie Tim Thomas made 37 saves in the shut-out victory and won the Conn Smythe Trophy for the most outstanding player in the Stanley Cup playoffs. In Boston, fans took to the streets, celebrating outside the Boston Garden while police made their presence known.
