After a week of voting and recommendations, it became clear that one establishment had garnered more support on these pages than any other: .

The eatery located at the corner of Washington and Union Park Streets, operated by the Aquitaine Group, specializes in new American cuisine, complemented with Italian sensibilities.

“Aquitaine Group has another gem of a restaurant in [Union Bar & Grille],” says Yelp user Elite ’12. “This restaurant represents classic comfort American with a lively modern twist. The technique is there. The execution is there. All of it is bound together by the terrific service in a great experience served in a classic dining room decor.”
