Seaport Hotel Debuts “Wedding Wednesdays” Series for the Newly Betrothed

A bi-monthly gathering on expert tips and trends from the Seaport Hotel wedding team, launching March 1st

Did you leave enough time for alterations on your dress? Did you remember to send in the band’s deposit? Is your favorite flower even in bloom during your wedding month?

What is meant to be one of the most special days of your life is often preceded by months of stressful planning in an unfamiliar territory if you don’t have a wedding planner on speed dial. The Seaport Hotel & World Trade Center now is here to lend a helping hand to all newly engaged couples to avoid any unpleasant “Bridezilla” and “Groomzilla” moments during the courtship. As one of the only hotels in Boston that has a team of professionals entirely dedicated to planning your big day, the waterfront property is launching a bi-monthly series, “Wedding Wednesdays at Seaport,” where soon-to-be brides and grooms are invited in to mingle with Seaport’s team of wedding experts while sampling locally-sourced nibbles and stylish cocktails before enjoying a detailed presentation on the wedding world’s newest trends.

Seaport will kick-off the series with the first event on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 5:30-7:30pm at TAMO Loft at the Seaport Hotel. Director of Catering Leah Malin and her team of wedding gurus will enlighten guests on trends that were once outdated but have come back into the fold during the first gathering titled The Trend Forecast 2017: From Passé to Present which will touch on the best in food and floral, what’s new in the getting ready process, and what favors guests want to go home with. Attendees also will have the opportunity to ask questions while learning from the pros who live “The Big Day” every day.
