South End Open Studios September 20 & 21

United South End Artists, Inc. will present the 28th annual South End Open Studios, Boston’s premier open studios event , on Saturday and Sunday September 20 & 21. South End Open Studios is like a back-stage pass that gives you an invitation to visit studios and meet the artists who work in Boston’s largest and most exciting community of artists. You’ll view extraordinary art displayed in Boston’s most innovative galleries. More than 200 artists and galleries will display original paintings, sculpture, photography, bookbinding, ceramics and jewelry and clothing design. A free mobile app will be offered to provide GPS-enabled maps that highlight studio and gallery locations and give artist and gallery information and images. Quick Response (QR) codes will be posted in many locations. 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM rain or shine. Free and open to the public.

Studios and galleries are located at various sites in the South End, including Boston Center for the Arts 539 Tremont Street, 450 Harrison Avenue, 535 Albany Street, 35/59 Wareham Street and 46 Waltham Street. MBTA orange line to Back Bay. Please visit http://useaboston.com for more information.
