South End resident and long-time Joslin supporter, Janet Wu served as mistress of ceremonies for the 11th annual A Taste of Ginger, a culinary fundraiser held at Boston’s MFA to benefit Joslin Diabetes Center’s Asian American Diabetes Initiative (AADI). Hundreds of Joslin supporters, including foodies and chefs, gathered together for a fun-filled evening, where they enjoyed entertainment and cuisine from 26 participating Boston-area restaurants. The event raised over $335,000 that will go toward the AADI’s mission to enhance the quality of life and health outcomes for the rising number of Asian Americans living with diabetes.
