The Elephant Walk South End Adds Flavorful Specials for New Year's Eve Dinner

On Thursday, December 31st, 2015, The Elephant Walk, located in Boston’s South End neighborhood, is spicing up the New Year’s Eve menu with Executive Chef Nadsa de Monteiro delivering a selection of outstanding specials in addition to the regular dinner menu.
Guests can enjoy unique and unexpected flavors sure to make for a memorable evening. Explore dishes such as the Tournedos et Sauce Foie Gras aux Figues ($29) beef tenderloin medallions seared in duck fat, foie gras sauce with figs, pan-roasted potato and haricots verts, or the Filet de Flétan, Petit Flan aux Epinards, Crême de Lentilles aux Champignons ($26) featuring East coast halibut, spinach flan, lentil cream sauce and Maitake mushroom. Step outside the box with the Nage de Vermicelles à l’Encre de Seiche aux Fruits de Mer ($26) squid ink pasta in lobster broth, PEI mussels, black tiger shrimp, mahi-mahi, radish and leek, or dive into the Cambodian culture with the Trio de Douceurs Khmères ($11), combining Sankhia L’pao with coconut milk custard with kabocha squash, Pôt K’Tis with sweet corn, tapioca and coconut milk and T’peh with sweet fermented black rice and fresh coconut.
Toast to 2016 and pair dinner with a bottle of bubbly from The Elephant Walk’s carefully curated wine list, or enjoy a celebratory martini from the seasonal holiday cocktail menu. Traditional menu favorites are also available as the full dinner menu will be offered without restrictions.
