Top of the Hub Celebrates "Dining Playbook Gala"

Top of the Hub was among the select restaurants showcased at the inaugural “Dining Playbook Gala,” held at The Castle at Boston Park Plaza. (Left to right) General Manager Raphael Oliver, Executive Chef Mark Porcaro, Sous Chef Danny Garcia and Assistant to the General Manager Tu-Uyen Dao joined “Dining Playbook” co-hosts Billy Costa and Jenny Johnson for the elegant celebration featuring a wide array of food tastings along with custom cocktails, beer and wine. Among the other participants were Davio’s, Smith & Wollensky, Taranta, The Palm, Union Oyster House, Modern Pastry and Robert Mondavi Winery. With entertainment by three-time Boston Music Award winners Eye 2 Eye, the event also included a live auction benefiting Rosie’s Place, which has been providing a safe and nurturing environment for poor and homeless women for 40 years.
