One person suffered serious injuries in a construction accident after falling 40 feet at Boston’s Logan International Airport Friday morning.
MassPort officials say a construction worker fell from the third-floor of a construction site located at the Central Parking Garage near the Hilton hotel around 7:45 a.m.

The worker suffered life-threatening injuries and was immediately transported to Massachusetts General Hospital, EMS officials say.
As the man was falling, a concrete slab dropped from a crane above. Preliminary investigations indicate the man landed on top of the slab.
