• Stoneham Fire Determines Cause Of Blaze That Displaced Residents (patch.com) — Stoneham firefighters have traced a recent Gracewood Road house fire that displaced two residents and their dog to a damaged lithium-ion battery pack from a leaf blower. Officials describe how the battery had fallen into a pool, was left to dry indoors, and later ignited, and they use the incident to warn Stoneham residents about safely charging, handling, and disposing of lithium-ion batteries.
