Café Jazz @ TBS presents Joe Mulholland with special guest Donna McElroy Saturday April 2 8pm

A real treat for Boston jazz fans, as Joe Mulholland returns to Café Jazz, with special guest vocalist Donna McElroy on Saturday April 2.

Joe has appeared at Café Jazz many times over the years, backing a host of wonderful singers. This time he’ll be joined by fellow Berklee College faculty member Donna McElroy.

The Grammy nominated singer has toured and recorded with everyone from Garth Brooks and Reba McEntire to Amy Grant and BeBe and CeCe Winans.

She’s appeared on “The Tonight Show” and the Grammys and won a best actress award for her role in the Circle Players’ production of “Nunsense.”

This past fall, Donna brought the house down at Melrose JazzFest

Along with Joe on piano, the band will include Stan Strickland on sax and flute, Bruce Gertz on bass and Yoron Israel on drums.

Café Jazz is located at Temple Beth Shalom, 21 E. Foster Street, Melrose.  Parking is plentiful and we’re located near the Orange Line and commuter rail.
