1 Injured After Car Crashes Into Motor Scooter In Stoughton
A man riding a motor scooter hit his head on the windshield after being hit by a car on Route 139 in Stoughton, fire officials said.
STOUGHTON, MA — A man was hospitalized after a car hit him and knocked him off his motor scooter, according to fire officials. Fire officials said the crash happened just after 5:30 a.m. Tuesday on Route 139 near the Route 24 overpass.
According to fire officials, the car rear-ended him when getting off the ramp. The man's head hit the windshield, but luckily, he was wearing a helmet, Captain James Rush said.
The man's injuries were minor, and he was walking around after the crash, Rush said. Fire officials said he was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton for precautionary reasons.
