Stoughton 3-Alarm Fire: 2 Firefighters Injured, 3 Displaced

STOUGHTON, MA — A home was damaged by a two-alarm fire Tuesday night,

At about 8:45 p.m., Stoughton fire responded to a report of a house fire on Estey Way. Firefighters at the scene reported heavy flames. Stoughton police assisted by closing Pearl Street from Joyce Drive to Estey Way.

Police and fire were on the scene until about 1:30 a.m.

Fire Chief Michael Laracy told the Enterprise that two firefighters were injured and three people were displaced. Their home has extensive damage, but has not been declared a total loss.

Canton, Sharon, Easton, Avon, and Brockton provided mutual aid.

The cause of the fire remains unknown and is under investigation
