2 Injured In 4-Car Stoughton Crash

STOUGHTON, MA — Two people were sent to the hospital after a four-car crash on Route 24, fire officials said. The crash happened just before 8 a.m. Thursday morning northbound near exit 20.

Fire officials described the crash as a "chain reaction" brought about in the middle of rush hour traffic. The two people hurt were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton with minor inuries, fire officials said.

State Police were called to the scene to help keeping traffic moving. Two lanes were closed while emergency officials cleared the crash.
