Stoughton Day 2017: What You Need To Know

STOUGHTON, MA — This year's Stoughton Day has a new location.

Due to the construction of the new Stoughton High School, this Saturday's celebration will take place at the West School Athletic Complex. The events starts at 11 a.m.

There will be a variety of free actives during the four-hour event including a bounce house, KnuckleBones Place Space, petting zoo, spin art, face painting, sticky soccer, roaming railroad train rides, the South Shore Fun Bus, pony rides, hula hooping, sack racing, an appearance from Pat Patriot, and more

Before the start of the day, the Stoughton Community Events Committee will host the first annual Stoughton Day Knights 5k Run & Squire Fun Run. The course starts at the O'Donnell Middle School, goes though Stoughton Center and circles back to the school. The race is at 8:30 a.m., with the Squire Fun Run set for 12:30 p.m. Please contact Race Director Kellie Laguerre at StoughtonEvents@gmail.com for information or click here to register.

Stoughton Day runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m, rain or shine with no makeup date.

• 11 a.m.-11:10 a.m. - Old Music Society
• 11:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m. - Joe Howard
• 11:50 a.m.-12:05 p.m. - South Shore Theatre Works
• 12:20 p.m.-1:05 p.m. - The Kapps
• 1:20 p.m.-2:05 p.m. - Josh and the Jamtones
• 2:15 p.m.-3:00 p.m. - The Fancy Bassetts

Secondary Stage and Other

• 11:45 a.m. - Starline Academy
• 12:00 p.m. - Bike Decorating/Judging
• 12:00 p.m. - K-9 Police Dog Demonstration (outside field)
• 12:30 p.m. - Squire Fun Run (Middle School Field - pre registration needed)
• 1:00 p.m. - Hula Hoop Contest
• 1:15 p.m. - Hazel Boone Dance Studio Dance Party
• 1:45 p.m. - Relay Race Contest
• 2:00 p.m. - Sack Racing
• 2:00 p.m. - K-9 Police Dog Demonstration (outside field)
