STOUGHTON, MA — Three people from Brockton were indicted in federal court in Boston Wednesday after being accused of trafficking thousands of doses of ecstasy, ketamine, and Xanax through the mail and "dark web."Allante Pires, 22, Steven McCall, 23, and Binh Le, 22, were all charged with conspiring to manufacture and distribute MDMA, Ketamine and Xanax.
The investigation began when the Postal Inspection Service told State Police and the Norfolk District Attorney's Office about drugs potentially being shipped through the mail, District Attorney Michael Morrissey said in a statement.
"This began as an investigation into whether this organization was utilizing the United States mail to send shipments of illegal drugs, some purchased using cryptocurrency and on the 'dark web,' to locations nationally," Morrissey said.

After several months of investigation, police got search warrants for a commercial property on Central Street in Stoughton and Le's residence on Menlo Street in Brockton. All three suspects were arrested on March 27.
McCall was arrested in Stoughton, while the other two were taken into custody after an undercover officer met with them at a business on Route 1 in Norwood after discussing liquidating $200,000 in Bitcoin to U.S. dollars.
When police searched the office space in Stoughton, Mccall was found wearing latex gloves and a respirator. Prosecutors said they believe McCall was in the process of filling drug orders. During the search of that office space, a computer with the “EastSideHigh” vendor page open, and numerous packages containing ecstacy and ketamine, various shipping and packaging materials, and a pill press were recovered. From all the searches, more than 200 grams of ecstacy, more than 7,000 grams of ketamine, 10,000 Xanax pills, roughly $200,000 worth of Bitcoin, and more than $100,000 in cash were seized by authorities, prosecutors said.
All three defendant are being held without bail, with no next court date scheduled as of Friday.
