2017 Stoughton 4th Of July Fireworks and Parade: What You Need To Know
Due to the construction of the new Stoughton High School, the usual plan has some changes.
STOUGHTON, MA — There will be a few changes to the annual Stoughton 4th of July fireworks.
The annual Independence Day display will still take place July 3 and the live music will continue to rock beforehand, but due to construction at the high school, there will be some differences at the event.

Fireworks Schedule of Events
Ronnie Lewis and the Expedition will play in front of the O'Donnell Middle School from 7 - 9:30 p.m. Concessions from the American Legion and Daddy's Dairy will be available.

The fireworks will start at 9:30 p.m.
New Location
As a result of construction from the new Stoughton High School, viewing and parking for this year’s fireworks has been altered.
Here's where residents can view the fireworks:
- The StoughtonHigh School football field
- The athletic complex field at West Elementary School
- Dreist Field.
- O'Donnell Middle School parking lot
- West Elementary School back parking lot
Open for parking and viewing:
- High School Parking lot (cafeteria/gym side)
- Upper Middle School parking lot
- West Elementary School front parking lot (limited spots)
Off limits/No access
- Soccer field and track
- Superintendent's side parking lot
- West Elementary School baseball and softball diamonds
The vehicle access road connecting Stoughton High School parking lot and O'Donnell Middle School lot will be closed to vehicles. The road will be open for pedestrian foot traffic and will serve as the public safety command center.

The Parade
Tuesday morning, the town's annual parade hosted by Mark Snyder marches though Stoughton Center. The parade will start at the intersection of Park and Prospect streets and run through the center of town, down Washington Street, and ends at Phillips Avenue. The parade starts at 10 a.m.
