5K Race Announced In Honor Of Stoughton High Crash Victims
Honor Christopher Desir, Eryck Sarblah Nicholas Joyce, and David Bell by running in a 5k and raising money for scholarships.

STOUGHTON, MA — Christopher Desir, Eryck Sarblah, Nicholas Joyce, and David Bell — all four of these boys were an important part of the Stoughton High School community. The four teens lost their lives last May during an East Bridgewater car crash, and the community is still thinking of them almost a year later. In the boys' honor, the recreation department is holding a 5k run to raise money for scholarships for graduating seniors.
The run is scheduled for May 18, the anniversary weekend of the crash. The race starts at O'Donnell Middle School and will be on a brand new route that will be released at a later date.
There will also be a "Fun Run" for younger children, which will be about 1k. Registration is $35 for the 5k, and the "Fun Run" will cost $15. Registration is available online, but you can also register the day of onsite. Register by April 30 to guarantee a shirt in your size. Volunteers at the middle school will also be available for childcare if parents want to run.
