Stoughton Police Seek Suspect In TJ Maxx Larceny

STOUGHTON, MA — Police in Stoughton are looking for another individual involved in a larceny at a local store this week.

The Stoughton Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify a person involved in a larceny at the TJ Maxx store at 1334 Park St. The incident took place on Aug. 11, police said.

Stoughton police shared photos of the suspect, who appears to have dark skin and dark hair and was wearing earrings, a blue hoodie and black shorts at the time of the incident.

Police urged anyone who recognized the individual or has any information that can help with the investigation to contact the Stoughton Police Department at (781) 344-2424 or send a private message to the department's Facebook page.

"As always, we remind the community that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law," Stoughton police wrote in the announcement on Monday. "Your help is valuable and appreciated in keeping our community safe. Thank you for your cooperation."

On Monday, police also shared photos from a separate incident in Stoughton.

Officials asked the public for help identifying an individual in connection with a reported theft at a local Target. The larceny occurred Aug. 9 at the Target store at 1 Hawes Way, according to the Stoughton Police Department.
