Anti-Semitic Graffiti Found At Stoughton Park

Anti-Semitic graffiti was found drawn in chalk at several places throughout Halloran Park, Stoughton town officials said.

STOUGHTON, MA — Anti-Semitic graffiti was found at a Stoughton park, according to Town Manager Robin Grimm. Around noon Wednesday, police were called to Halloran Park after the graffiti, drawn in chalk, was spotted at several places. Police called interim recreation directors Matt Cauchon, and he immediately came to remove the markings.

Stoughton police and town officials said they are working to find out who drew the graffiti.

"This behavior is intolerable," Grimm said. "This behavior is not reflective of the Stoughton I have had the privilege of getting to know this past year. Town Hall will do everything in its power to send the message that what happened today is not indicative of who we are as a community."
