Braintree Golf Pro Inducted Into PGA Hall of Fame

Braintree's Bob Beach is recognized.

Bob Beach got his first golf job as an assistant pro at Braintree Municipal Golf Course in 1978m and also won the New England Assistant Pros' championship in 1978. Beach took the path of golf teacher, and worked as an assistant at Newton Commonwealth in the 1980s, and then returned to Braintree in 1991.

Now, he'll be inducted into the PGA's Hall of Fame, reported the Patriot Ledger.

In 2010, Braintree's course went municipal, and Beach added some lessons through Cedar Hill in Stoughton, where he still devotes his time.
