Payless Asphalt & Property Management was hired to repave our driveway in May. The driveway is already cracking and despite a contract that has a 5 year warranty the owner will not return our calls and his assistant has made many promises and excuses to fix it but has yet to do so. As of this week when I told the assistant that I would be contacting the better business bureau he said he would not come out because of my “threats”. I’m hoping other residents will be wary of this company and at the very least be more through with the contract than I was. Although the contract said “lay gravel under asphalt” it did not specify how many inches. They laid about an inch of what the owner called “stonedust gravel” that looked like dirt. The result is grass already growing through the driveway 1 month later.
